Decentralization refers to a specific form of organizational structure where the top management delegates decision-making responsibilities and daily operations to middle and lower subordinates.

Limitations or Disadvantages of Decentralization  in India

  • Sometimes Gram Sabha and election not held regularly.
  • Most state governments have not transferred significant powers to local level.
  • Its difficult to coordinate the overall activity.
  • It will require of hiring trained and qualified persons.
  • It can create conflict between different manager of different divisions.
